StillMovingArt What Boris does with ambience is to give it vocal apparatus; a human voice. Not content to simply play in a new note or texture, he often applies voicing to the attack and development of the sound. So much of the music thereby ends up feeling warm, organic and almost vocal.
(The master of this of course is Eno - just listen to Reflection or -
as this album reminds me - Thursday Afternoon, for how much interest can be brought to a few notes).

Landover Incubation is an 1hr+ Longform with a very atmospheric sonic world. I can't term what it is, but in the ambient genre you find so many same old drone albums, but this is something very unique and spellbinding.
Btw: the cover is equally captivating. An infrared lamp under a Felt-Blanket? An eyecatcher, that makes you curious, what is incubated underneath... Favorite track: Incubation : Movement 1.
Brian Bourassa

Brian Bourassa An abundance of lush, free-floating drifts accented with the tinkering of eclectic notes.

This fantastic work is well-conceived and should be a must-have in any abstract ambient collection. The fact is, all four of his releases thus far, are well worth checking out.

This work is about these transition phases in life when it's not clear where one is heading to. And unbeknownst to us, the future is incubating somewhere, until it will emerge...

Incubation is a follow-up to my track Conception, composed for the Free Floating Music collective album Conception.
